1948 Velocette KTT 350cc MKVlll The bike is Frame number SF226 1948 .
Engine number 950 ( I believe 1949).
From Vintage Motorcycle club Certificate.
The bike was originally from Ivan Rhodes who had it with MKV cases.
The engine came from Bohnhams 23 years ago. The bike was sold by Brooks , in 2000 .
There is a good history file that includes a spec sheet from Ivan Rhodes from 1985 for engine 950.
It was described as rebuilt by Ivan Rhodes for John Blanchard in May 1985.
With Works Forged piston , Stronger valve springs for 7000 RPM , Fitted new Big End , Valves , Camshaft and bearings . new bottom bevel and new liner to suit the Works piston.

There is an invoice dated 1985 to John Blanchard from Ivan Rhodes for the rebuild of Engine KTT 950 at a cost of £1257.20.
